1-54 New York 2019

The 2019 New York edition welcomed 10,000 visitors, 24 galleries from Belgium, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Ghana, Kenya,Martinique, Morocco, Nigeria, Portugal, Senegal, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States, collectively exhibiting the work of more than 70 artists.

Every single Artist we are presenting is African, self-made and has a story to tell. The 1:54 team have done an astonishing job creating an outlet or platform for self-expression and supporting artists from Africa and its diaspora.
