BREAKING DOWN THE PROCESS OF PRODUCTION

Akwasi Poku is a filmmaker, his debut narrative film Lock Off has featured internationally at Aesthetica Short Film Festival and PAFF. No stranger to the world of film. For the past decade, Akwasi has worked as a creative on music videos and commercials creating work for brands such as Nike, F1, Google & Warner Brothers to name a few. Whilst working in this field, Akwasi has worked on honing in on his craft for storytelling. He has always had a burning desire to flex his ideas in the narrative space, whilst also telling stories involving the Afro-Caribbean communities in a positive light.
